Hardened Steel for Plastic Molds
Polishable, nitrideable, suitable for chrome plating and knurling.
Possible applications:
Plastic molds, plastic mold holders, and die-casting molds
Supply of Präzi steel plates:
In barre lunghezza 1030 con sovrametallo di lavorazione, piastre con sezione rettangolare, bonificato 280-325 HB (circa 950 – 1100 N/mm2)

Heat treatment:
Ricottura di distensione: max. 480 °C
Ricottura di lavorabilità: 710-740 °C
It is used in the conditions in which it is delivered.
Stress relief treatment is recommended for the 30% upper partial geometry prior to finishing.
