Heat treatment:
Annealing: 650 – 680 °C
Retortibility: 670 – 710 °C
Cementing temperature: 870 – 900 °C
Hardening by tempering: 810 – 840 °C
Rapid cooling: Oil, air or hot bath
Recovery: 150 – 300 °C
Maximum hardness 62 HRC after carburizing and hardening
