Hardened Steel for Plastic Molds
Polishable, nitrideable, suitable for chrome plating and knurling.
Possible applications:
Plastic molds, plastic mold holders, and die-casting molds
Supply of Präzi steel plates:
In bars of length 1030 with machining allowance, plates with rectangular section, quenched and tempered 280-325 HB (approx. 950 – 1100 N/mm²)</2)

Heat treatment:
Stress-relief annealing: max. 480 °C
Process annealing: 710-740 °C
It is used in the conditions in which it is delivered.
Stress relief treatment is recommended for the 30% upper partial geometry prior to finishing.
