Quenched and tempered steel with a hardness of 300 HBW that is extremely easy to machine, with cutting speeds 20–251 TP3T higher than those of traditional 1.2312 tool steel. Although it has the same hardness, it is much more ductile than 1.2311/1.2312/1.2738/P20. Its high purity makes it exceptional for engraving, EDM, and welding processes. It is also easy to polish.
