Tool steel with excellent heat-hardening characteristics due to its high nickel concentration, polishability, photo-etchability, and erodibility.
Possible applications:
Ideally suited for hardened inserts for plastic molds, foundry injection molds, bending tools, pressure bars in bending tools, and cutting blades for high-density cutting products, among other things.
